Jamie Tisch, Other WCRF Founders, with Brooke Shields

While this event was quite awhile ago, it's still interesting to see pictures of these dedicated, lovely women. This picture includes Marion Laurie, Jamie Tisch and Kelly Meyer, a few of the founders of the Women's Cancer Research Fund, posing with Brooke Sheilds. They were at Saks Fifth Avenue's Viva La Cure to kickoff the "Key to the Cure" weekend at The Sea Grill in New York City.

To celebrate Vera Wang’s 20 years in the fashion industry, Bloomingdale’s hosted an amazing retrospective of the designer. She discussed her history in the industry with Stephanie Winston, the Director of Fashion Week at Lincoln Center and she selected gowns from her archive to exhibit the evolution of her work.

Supporting the WCRF by Supporting philosophy

Certainly, most of us would like to support worthy causes, but we don’t always know how to do so. One great way to support the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, co-founded by Kelly Chapman Meyer, Marion Laurie, Anne Douglas, Quinn Ezralow and Jamie Tisch, is to support their major donors.

One of their major donors is a skin and beauty company called philosophy. Their product lines include results-driven skin care, clean fragrances, bath and body lines and makeup. All of their products use cutting-edge internal research and development, manufacturing and distribution to provide customers with the best products available today. philosophy uses children’s pictures and only lowercase writing on purpose as a way to accentuate the simple pleasures in life.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Honored at "An Unforgettable Evening"

The Entertainment Industry Foundation and the Women’s Cancer Research Fund work tirelessly to raise funds for cancer research and to raise awareness. The Women’s Cancer Research Fund, which is a program of EIF, was founded by Kelly Chapman Meyer, Anne Douglas, Quinn Ezralow, Marion Laurie and Jamie Tisch.

At their recent annual “An Unforgettable Evening” GRAMMY winners Tim McGraw and Faith Hill were presented with the 2010 Courage Award.

Faith Hill is a longtime supporter of EIF’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund while Tim McGraw serves as the Honorary Chairman of the Tug McGraw Foundation. This foundation was created in honor of Tim’s father, Major League Baseball pitcher Tug McGraw. After being diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, Tug McGraw dedicated his life to enhance the lives of others with brain tumors.
