On Saturday night, September 26th 2010, Hollywood launched its 6th annual Pink Party as a fundraiser for women’s cancer research. The stars dressed all in pink to support women and families who have been impacted by breast cancer.
This is not the only event in which celebrities have openly shown their support. Many celebrities, such as Nicole Kidman, Minnie Driver and Barbara Windsor have publicly supported breast cancer research.
Recently, representatives from the Italian fashion line Gucci met with the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, co-founded by Kelly Chapman Meyer, Marion Laurie, Anne Douglas, Quinn Ezralow and Jamie Tisch, to discuss potential causes of breast cancer and to show their support.
